A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Gerald developed a fascination for the financial markets after hearing Warren Buffet's response to the October 1987 market crash. His consumer finance degree from the University of Alabama has been instrumental in helping him prudently manage clients’ wealth. Early in his career, he met his wife Sally, with whom he has two daughters. In 2020, Gerald realized his long-standing aspiration of serving the public and joined the Mountain Brook City Council. Gerald’s experience of growing up in a military family combined with his time in public service have been instrumental in developing his passion for supporting U.S. Veterans and First Responders.
